CoxiPay card acceptance & eligibility

Once issued, your CoxiPay Visa card is accepted wherever Visa is accepted — at over 150 million merchant locations worldwide, online and in-store, plus ATM withdrawals, subject to Visa risk controls.

Eligibility is determined during your application. Whether you can open an account and be issued a card depends on your residence and applicable regulations. We confirm your eligibility as part of the application and identity-verification (KYC/KYB) process — not as a public, country-by-country list. Start an application and we'll tell you right away whether a card can be issued to you.

Where the card works

The CoxiPay card operates over the Visa network, so it works at any Visa-accepting merchant worldwide. Geographic reach is tied to Visa acceptance, not to a specific country list. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported on eligible cards.

How eligibility is assessed

During onboarding we verify your identity (and, for companies, your business) and confirm that a card can be issued under applicable law and our risk policy. Some applications may require enhanced due diligence (for example, additional documentation or source-of-funds information). These determinations are handled inside the application flow.

🚫 What the card cannot be used for

CoxiPay cards must not be used to pay for any of the following — transactions matching these categories will be blocked or reversed:

Purchase or trade of digital currencies (other than via the official top-up gateway)
Drug-related purchases, marijuana, cannabis, CBD, black-market items
Dark web marketplaces, hacking, cybercrime services
Unlicensed internet pharmacies
Firearms, ammunition, explosives
Hazardous materials without proper regulatory clearance
Escort services or similar platforms
Unlicensed or illegal auction sites
Unregulated lending or payday loans
Data brokerage involving unauthorised personal data
Trade of endangered species or wildlife products

🏢 Business cards — Enhanced Due Diligence categories

Corporate cards in the following sectors are accepted but require enhanced documentation (additional KYB, source-of-funds, regulatory licences):

Money Service Businesses (MSBs) and remittance services
Cryptocurrency platforms and exchanges
Charities and NGOs
Precious metals dealers
Online content / creator platforms (subscription, streaming)
Regulated gambling or fantasy sports

🚫 Business cards — Prohibited categories

Corporate cards cannot be issued for businesses operating in:

Distribution of illegal substances or controlled drugs
Human trafficking, prostitution, escort services
Counterfeit or unauthorised goods
Pyramid / Ponzi schemes
Illegal digital content (including child exploitation)
Political campaign fundraising or donation platforms
